I learned SOOOO MUCH from Dana-Marie about the intricacies of the brain and how to heal from trauma: psychological and physical. The path that a survivor has to travel to go from victim to overcomer is unimaginably complex. Her mission for Holistic Freedom Institute was to be the compass, the north star, the constant anchor, in an individual’s (and their family’s) journey towards neuroconscious healing. There are multiple modalities and it’s a diverse topic but, to symbolize bringing the disparate pieces of a broken person (of the family) back to a whole, on the right path… was the inspiration of this logo. Her organization will teach, inspire, and provide the tools needed for this healing to begin. There is always hope and a vision for a better tomorrow with an awareness of the four-fold interweaving of spiritual, mental, physical, and emotional realms. Like a sun, this logo shines brightly in the dark to give those who are trapped and hurting a path to follow. The colors used illustrate the contrast of night and day, peace, trust, guidance, and hope. The modalities are many, but they will all lead one to holistic healing and their own true north.
