This is a WHCC accordion folded 4×5.5 piece designed to showcase the variety of family photography that Danny Weiss offers. He is amazing and does it all – kids, families, maternity and more. The usual go-to idea would be just putting one image per panel; instead I split the space into two to double the exposure real estate on the panels.
His branding look and feel is clean with simple grays + warm sunny colors along with subtle angled straight lines. I’m all about consistency across the board from website to business cards….. everything should look like it goes together beautifully.
OUTSIDE:
Imagine that there are 4 panels and this is open and laid out on the table. When folded up the front is the far right panel with the little one reaching out to the parent’s hand. Logo visible. I don’t love mixing B&W photos with color – but this is ok because it’s a bit isolated being the ‘cover’ of the whole piece rather than being say, stuck on a panel with other color photos around it.
If you turn it over – you see the contact info panel. Open up the back – you’re presented with a large full bleed photograph of this sweet young family.
INSIDE:
The inside panels when opened up all gel together and work together. Emotional words interspersed with photographs to bring in the idea that the viewer really cherishes these things in their own life – and that they really need to contact to book their session immediately.
