Besides designing unique custom albums, HappyFish works with companies for their collateral needs – like business cards, pricing guides, brochures, internet presence and much more.
There are many great labs in home towns and online that can print lovely business cards. It used to be that for a full color business card you would have to print a large quantity – and they would be very expensive. With digital processes and pigments/toners vs plates/inks, printers can run on demand with short runs which enable businesses to print short runs for a very affordable price. Photographers are the perfect audience for this benefit. To me, I can still see a ‘difference’ with the on-demand VS ink printers…. but…. for the price, it definitely serves the purpose. I love the look of the thickest card stocks with high cotton content, letterpress features…. so luxurious. You can print on wood, metal, plastic…. have see through cards…. the creative options are truly endless. Just depends on your budget! Die cuts used to be unaffordable, now they are common place and cheap. They are an easy way to stand out from others in your market – but do be careful that you don’t get too trendy and look dated too soon. To me, thicker, nicer stocks make a difference to the flimsy thin card stocks that many use. It’s worth upgrading.
