It’s almost Valentine’s Day and some of your are busy doing sessions bursting with L O V E. Newly engaged couples, new babies, anniversary portraits perhaps….
If you are not doing Valentine’s Sessions there are other things to think about this season.
Vendor Relationships. This is the perfect time of year to reach out with a little note, gift, perhaps flowers… to some of your favorite (and most profitable) event planners and venues. Everyone loves a surprise and will remember the sender certainly. These can be tricky however, they can be fun, whimsical, themed… BUT not too romantic either. That would be awkward. You don’t have to be long winded (like yours truly ;D) just a quick ‘I love working with you and your team at _X_ and look forward to a fun wedding season this year’ or something like written on an eye catching branded card.
Here are some fun Valentine’s Day themed props and products I’ve discovered and thought I’d share with my photographer friends today. For gift giving be SURE to include a great card design featuring some of your photos, website, logo and contact information. I have designed MANY cards and brochures for photographers. If you are in need of help, feel free to contact us.

ganache with a hint of vanilla. The hearts are gold-dusted filled with pistachio ganache with a hint of cinnamon. Your favorite event planner or vendor would be thrilled to receive these.
For sending to a venue – this would be an ideal gift because of the higher quantity of goodies to share around. We buy a lot of gifts from Dancing Deer – they are delicious and we love their packaging too.
