Hany Hosny contacted me to bring a dream of his to life – a documentary book on his photography of the people of Bolivia. He had text content for an introduction and lots of impactful images. This was one of those projects that I’ll always remember and cherish.  Indeed, the images are still burned in my heart as I designed this book a few years ago now and day to day work and life kept getting in the way to sit and share it on our blog.  A family that we know mentioned on FB that they might be visiting Bolivia this summer and Hany’s book jumped back into my thoughts – again. Hany’s admiration of the Bolivian people is clearly illustrated in “Between Lip and Gum – An Intimate Glance at Life in the Bolivian Andes.”  Thank you Hany – and I will await your next global adventure.

Here is a sampling of just some of the layouts from this 82 page side documentary book. Hard to pick and choose my favorites though.
