My first project with photographer Sean Slavin of California was soooooooo fun – when he asked if I would be interested in designing an LC3500 featuring his Samoan Surfing adventure … I said YEEEEEES !!! Send it over NOW! 😀 The really interesting aspect of designing this album was that Sean is not only an incredible photographer (he shoots weddings AND surfing photography), but he is a r e a l l y good writer! He wrote a daily journal style monologue about each day in Samoa. I integrated the text with the photos from the day into a vibrant story that he will have fun sharing with his family and friends whenever they want to be transported back to the islands. I know this trip was really special to him and I really feel honored to have been asked to work with him on this personal album. Here are a few of my favorite spreads out of the 48 page album.
