We have over a thousand people contact us through our website over the past 7 years and most have mentioned on their contact or new client survey form YES – sign me up on your enews list for updates, special offers etc…..
Do you know how many enews’ we’ve sent out? Ummm, officially one. No fear of email burnout coming from us !
The irony is that it is SO fun to create, format, set up, design and send out enews campaigns – and we have had a couple companies hire us to do that for them. The hard part …. is doing it for yourself. It’s hard to be objective and not nit-pick it to DEATH. It’s like torture. Too boring? Too short? Too long? What should I say?! ugh. When I design for other companies they will provide the copy and photography – and I can do the rest. We can create a branded ‘template’ and base new campaigns off of that for future send outs as well.
I’ve had a ton of fun with enews’ (ahem, other people’s enews’) over the past year or so and I’ll attach a couple examples. I’ve become very familiar with both MailChimp and Mad Mimi. Both are great. I think Mail Chimp offers more features design wise. Both offer a limited free plan – but have many unique programs depending on the size of your mail list, how many times a month you wish to send out etc.
